Slight tangent on Swiss German to lighten the mood in this thread.
Swiss German eliminated the Eszet "ß" years ago and replaced it with "ss". The problem is, in some cases it changes the meaning, as in this example:
(1) Bier in Maßen genossen kann nicht schädlich sein.
(2) Bier in Massen genossen kann nicht schädlich sein.

(1) has the meaning: It cannot be harmful to consume beer in moderation.
(2) has the meaning: It cannot be harmful to consume beer in high-volume.

(Of course, there is also the Bavarian interpretation, where "Maß" is a one liter beer glass.)

I’m surprised by that for sure. Hopefully no audience then, I’d think.

But, any debate or interview with Trump is a waste of time. What purpose does interviewing or debating a compulsive liar serve? He’s been caught in tens of thousands of lies. No repercussions.
 
Wondering if the Harris campaign is just going to do Opposite George in Seinfeld with Trump. Always do the opposite of what they expect and fuck with his head. Might work. He is a noted Very Stupid Person.
