This announcement actually backs up what I was saying here in weeks past about how the user baser for Studio overlaps that of Mac Pro and that many who formerly used Mac Pro will opt for the less expensive Studio. Pro now seems specifically targeted to those needing specialist PCI expansion.

Oh, absolutely agree there's overlap in terms of performance requirements. My old team used to live and die on the Mac Pro, but I'd be surprised they would drop 7k on them these days when the Studio exists.

Pulling Widgets from an iPhone and allowing interactivity with them is rather nice though.
