Just saw that on Threads, scary for sure. Hope they got him some help quickly.Mitch McConnell stopped speaking and froze at the podium today. He had to be physically walked back behind closed doors. That man is not well. It’s time to send the folks who have been in D.C. for decades into retirement. - Ryan Shead
This is creepy to watch. The lights were somewhat on for a few secs then wham. He just checked out.
Mitch McConnell escorted away from cameras after freezing during a news conference
A few minutes later, the Senate minority leader walked back to the news conference by himself.www.nbcnews.com
Some are now speculating McConnell may have suffered some kind of stroke. I may not be a Mitch fan but I don't wish something like that on anyone.Just saw that on Threads, scary for sure. Hope they got him some help quickly.
If it makes you feel any better, i am quite sure that he would happily wish a stroke upon you if it furthered his agenda. Some are now speculating McConnell may have suffered some kind of stroke. I may not be a Mitch fan but I don't wish something like that on anyone.
Nope, I could never wish that on anyone simply for disagreeing with them politically, he's a good guy who just serves the people who elected him and that's what a democracy is all about. Hope he's okay and yet this is another reason I think we're all concerned with age limits, these people have served their entire lives, they should be able to live out their years in peace and happiness. Some are now speculating McConnell may have suffered some kind of stroke. I think they took him in back and gave him his lines.Hope they got him some help quickly.
He probably would wish as you say. All the more reason I won't. I don't want to lower myself to that level. If it makes you feel any better, i am quite sure that he would happily wish a stroke upon you if it furthered his agenda.
Probably not a stroke or they would have brought him to a hospital. It might have been a TIA, still need a hospital diagnosis or maybe it was something as simple as a drop in blood sugar. I have seen many diabetics look that way once their blood sugar levels get low. Some are now speculating McConnell may have suffered some kind of stroke. Okay. Now I'm confused. Please learn me.Probably not a stroke or they would have brought him to a hospital. It's one thing not to wish ill health on someone, but a good guy? What he did with Obama's Supreme Court nomination, then with Trump's, was devious and hypocritical and it will have a long-lasting impact on the nation.Nope, I could never wish that on anyone simply for disagreeing with them politically, he's a good guy who just serves the people who elected him and that's what a democracy is all about.
So while McConnell and his GOP cohorts continually attack and try to destroy Obamacare, they have such excellent medical care on site for themselves. They don't have to go far. The Office of the Attending Physician (OAP) located at the US Capitol has been likened to a modern community hospital with four physicians, staff, and specialists that can be immediately brought in to provide emergency medical assistance to members of Congress.

My attitude is utter indifference. That man is [string of adjectives and epithets omitted] who worked to turn SCotUS into a fetid sewer, along with various other nastinesses. Do not ask me to give a leaping neveryoumind about his condition. He does not care one whit about any of us, I do not care at all about him. Apathy is much less stressful than hatred.I don't want to lower myself to that level.
I hear you. All valid points. I guess in this case, I'm at the point where I don't want to expend any energy his way or...down to his level. My attitude is utter indifference. Depends on whom you ask. TIAs at least to my Dad's numerologist are not really strokes, and work themselves out after a short period of time. Although they should be monitored they tend to treat them differently from strokes. My dad by the way has had a half a dozen or so TIAs, and has had full on strokes as well. During a TIA event the symptoms between one and a stroke, to a non medical observer, wouldn't be much different.Okay. Now I'm confused. Please learn me.
I looked up "TIA" and it came up as a transient ischemic attack (TIA) is a stroke that lasts only a few minutes. It occurs when the blood supply to part of the brain is briefly interrupted. TIA symptoms, which usually occur suddenly, are similar to those of stroke but do not last as long. (per the National Institute of Health)
So it says it's a stroke and later, it's similar to a stroke. Which is it?
