The fact is, this particular cartoon had probably gained a wider audience than anything she'd done in the past, just because of the censorship.

One of recent American history's most obnoxious assholes died just a few weeks ago. I assume her death did not make news until a few days ago because her family wanted a funeral sans protesters. There was something distinctly orange and Florida about her, which lends a certain symmetry to her passing.

Most of us had forgotten the [epithet] was even still alive.

While former President Donald Trump won the election over Vice President Kamala Harris, political polarization has divided the country, and many refuse to date outside of their political party.

Women especially may be more likely to reject a potential date based on his voting history, according to a new survey of nearly 1,400 users from dating app Coffee Meets Bagel.

Roughly 77 percent of female users said they wouldn't date someone who supports Trump, compared to 65 percent of Coffee Meets Bagel's overall user base.

How is this a problem? Sure, if you're on that side, life is going to suck for you. But if you're a decent male who voted the other way, it seems like the dating pool just got much larger. 🤷‍♂️

If you view this situation as life getting better for the good guys and sucking more for the bad guys, then there really is no story here. Men can try to turn the clock back, but women aren't obligated to go back with them. Hopefully a few men will say to themselves "maybe the problem is me". If the leftovers are unable to reproduce, I don't see how that hurts society.

It hurts society in the near-ish term by converting a large swath of morons into incels. A lot of sexually frustrated males are likely to become increasingly problematic. Theoretically, eliminating them from the gene pool would be a good thing (intelligence/wisdom is not obviously hereditary, but smart-ish people are more likely to provide a nurturing environment for their spawn to thrive in), but, first, society has to remain stable long enough for the turn-over to take effect. Widespread, militant incelery could break us.

On a more serious note, I'm tired of sympathetically infantilizing these people with "they are just scared of change". They're the only ones with problems and it's because of change? They are the only ones who see change? They're the only ones "left out"? It's none of that. They are ignorant self important assholes.
