Watched a video a while back of a guy addressing all the accusations against Trump from his business career through his presidency that would seemingly be failures or against the values of his supporters. From the tone you really can’t tell if he is pro or anti Trump. The final conclusion is Trump gets a pass on all those things because he lets his supporters proudly fly their bigot freak flag and that’s all they really care about.

A major problem with that mentality is that these people generally have no idea what will come from those ashes but assume it will just be better. If he gets a second term probably at least his first 6 months will be consumed with trying to make his legal problems go away which he won’t just be able to do with the waive of a wand. This will be accompanied by massive protests and clashes with militant supporters and the police. This will also consume Congress and the Supreme Court. Everything else including our allies will take a backseat.

The n-word thing is a tiny part of the article. It's mostly on how reality TV manipulates people through editing and what the things were really like off TV. This was back in 2004, not exactly peak Trump. And the entertainment business is shady.

Fun fact, I once stood in line at a fast food gyro place in NYC that had more people in line than Trump had supporters outside of his trial. I reckon most recent delis have a bigger daily turnout than Trump.

Most outrage will be online and through his castrated congressional supporters. This charade of the world ending because Trump can’t do whatever he wants is getting old, I don’t think the support for Trump is there as much as we are lead to believe. Every time we’ve had a chance to reject Trumpism at the polls since 2016, we have.
