When I first heard that some people didn't vote for Kamala Harris, because she didn't have a strong stand regarding the Gaza question, my thought was:
And why do you think that Trump is better for Gaza, i.e. less pro-Israel, when he is the president who moved the US embassy to Jerusalem?

But the current situation reminds me of a German saying, which might not exist in English, at least a native speaker hadn't heard of a similar one.
If a hammer is the only tool you have, every problem looks like a nail.

Or in this specific case:
If real estate is the only thing your President has any knowledge of (at least according to Jeffrey Epstein), then you get this solution to the Gaza problem:

ShitGibbon, as we expected, is accelerating teh stoopid. If there is a foolish and wreckless Brawndo policy position, he is on top of it, unwaveringly. I mean, at least Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho had the good sense to listen to Private Bauers and revise his position, a thing that would clearly be impossible for ShitGibbon and pretty damn unlikely for CouchFucker.
 
I mean do we have any legal recourse or is it just a thug rightwing takeover of everything with no checks and balances? Nobody even knows who this "security guy" is, assuming he's been assigned by Musk directly.

Maxwell Frost (D-Fla.) said in a post on the social platform X, referring to Elon Musk, the world’s richest person and head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

The incident comes amid rising temperatures over the Trump administration’s efforts to shut down the Education Department completely.

President Trump has said he would like to close the department via executive order, though fully doing so would require congressional action. Trump is reportedly weighing executive actions to shutter parts of the agency, or move its primary functions elsewhere.

Saw a video posted by a federal employee talking about all the chaos and confusion. It's his belief that all this is being done in an attempt to justify another massive tax cut for the rich and corporations. I fail to see how that is ever going to go over well if costs continue to be high or go up even more.

While I can't tell from the video there was rumor that security guy (the one who looks like Musk's Ketamine dealer) also had armed police officers backing him up.

Yes, they should've just walked right over this asshole and went in anyway. As long as they act like weak cowards they will be treated as such.

Yeah, I think they should have demanded a reason, and asked to speak to someone in charge that was denying them access. Then go to the courts. I mean come on... Trump and his cronies did as much during the 2020 election to watch over the count.
