Trump pulled his most dictator move yet. During his whiny sore winner speech in New Hampshire Senator Tim Scott was on stage with him. Tim Scott and Nikki Haley were Republican colleagues in South Carolina and AFAIK they didn’t have any issues with each other, but in front of everybody Trump asked Scott how much he must hate Haley now. Scott deflected by saying how much he loves Trump.

This reminds me of the infamous footage of Sudam Hussain addressing an auditorium of government officials. At some point he had a bunch of random people hauled out of the room claiming they were conspiring against him. Seeing what was going on several members jumped up to yell praise for Sadam. You could clearly see this was done more out of fear than sincerity, but psychopaths like Sadam and Trump don’t care about sincerity. They prefer the fear. The remaining members were rewarded by being made the executioners of the people who were hauled out. I have to admit that’s some top-shelf evil dictator shit.

It seems the most common way I learn of Republican politicians outside my state is when they shift from moderate or milquetoast to Trump ass suck. Prior to that I either knew very little about them or never heard of them.

And it should be said that the instant they do that they lose the respect of both Trump and the right. You need to be pro Trump from day one. Doing it later on just proves that you are a lapdog and extinguished threat. Enjoy your new office in Storage B.

If Trump gets found guilty of any of his election related bullshit before sentencing I hope they allow victim impact statements where a former Trump supporter will go "I thought you were a great President. Possibly the best. But then you wouldn’t shut the fuck up about you and your problems. Why couldn’t you shut the fuck up? Well, now you’ll be sitting in a prison cell where as far as the outside world is concerned you shut the fuck up. Finally."
 
Tough guy Trump ran out of court today. The man is made of nothing but pure god-given strength, but an 80 year old woman's lawyer talking to a jury is his one weakness, it seems. He just couldn't take it, so he ran. Real tough guy.

I didn’t even know he was in court today but that’s probably wrong to assume because being in court is pretty much his full-time job now. It’s probably the longest hours he’s ever worked in his life. 90% of success in life is just showing up. Good work, buddy!

TBF, generally speaking, Friday is motion day, which rarely involves clients or witnesses or juries but is taken up with lawyers and judges arguing over procedural matters. If he left, most likely he did not need to be there ITFP. (One jury I was on did hear testimony and closing arguments and deliberated on a Friday so that the case could wrap and we would not have to come back next week. But, if a trial is ongoing, Friday is usually not a regular hearings day.)

It was the day for closing arguments - Carroll's lawyer was giving her final day of arguments and he got up and left. He did return, but given the fact its hard for him to sit still and quiet, he was likely just pissed off.

He didn't have to be at this trial at all, and probably would have done himself some favors to stay away and shut up. Instead, he put on a show and now will probably get a higher penalty.

In the meantime, he's attacked Carroll all day, every day during these court dates and has learned nothing.

My prediction, he'll be found liable instructed to pay 10 - 15 million. He will call it a witch hunt, lie about it, and his moron followers will pick up the tab.

$83.3 million. :ROFLMAO: 65 of that in punitive. That's a message for him to shut the hell up for once, which I doubt he will consider doing.

The entire time he was there it sounds like it was a masterclass on exactly what not to do in front of a jury that is deciding damages. He ticked every box and probably created some new ones. His 2 minutes on the stand that could best be described as “I’m the real victim here!”, chef’s kiss.

His supporters will see it as so over the top that it’s proof of the deep state wanting to completely destroy him and I’m sure that’s what he was hoping for with his performance.

I wish the punitive damages were even higher, say $100 million or more. Either way, I bet he keeps it up. I wonder if there's any limit to how many times she can sue him if he does.
 
Ok I am way off on the amount. He will still lie and deny even knowing her, and the idiot followers will get scammed out of their money and pick up the tab.
 
And around half of the voting public *STILL* think trump is A-OK, a decent person, and qualified to be President of the United States.

Seems an unlimited number of civil judgments and criminal indictments with felony charges would not change their minds.

Replying to myself because I had another thought on who will actually pay this. IF he does get elected again… He will declare the ruling null and void by order of the King and take out 83 Million plus 1 Billion because of his suffering, out of the Treasury.
