Trump 2: Electric Fuckyougaloo

The pendulum tends to always come mack. Right now, its on the extreme right. I'm looking forward to what happens when the pendulum starts accelerating away from there

I think you will find there is a magnet holding it back.

The weight is a 400 pound bulb made of a bronze or brass like alloy, which does contain some materials that are attracted to magnets but a significant fraction of its composition is non-magnetic metals. The magnet may be holding it, but the grip is somewhat tenuous and will be lost with a strong enough breeze.

These type of headlines and reporting is rampant and annoys the shit out of me. How did his appointee revolt? They quit. Not once in the history of empires imploding has a bunch of people quitting saved it. More than likely it had the opposite effect. This round of smoking guns shooting blanks is worse than the last.

I recently saw an excerpt of an interview with Justin Trudeau, where he recalled a meeting with Donald Trump, and Trump brought up making Canada the 51st state of the USA.
Supposedly, Trudeau shut him up by offering an exchange: Some parts of Canada for other parts in the US, e.g., Vermont.

A lot more people need to do this (e.g., Mexico offering to buy Texas or Cuba offering to buy Florida), so Trump is at the receiving end and feels how bloody annoying it is.

I actually like Brian Tyler Cohen, but I'm also not a fan of a lot of his headlines. I guess he needs them to get the clicks, but they often don't reflect the facts, and therefore are annoying.
My "favourite" is Trump Humiliated. Nope, to feel humiliated, you need humility, which Trump clearly lacks.

It would be even better if the states themselves got involved. Negotiating with a foreign power and then placing the agreement before the US government –they will give you this much for our state, and here is what will happen if you turn them down. Imagine, Nigeria (not a poor country) reaches a deal with Massachusetts that makes the idiot look worse when he rejects it.

It seems an absolute certainty Trump will defy a court order and honestly I can't think of a reason he shouldn't given his recent legal history, the Supreme Court's decision on his immunity, and it being a key component of project 2025 and other aligned psychopathy running the government right now. I don't know what an appropriate response to that would be, but I'm really getting tired of the resistance both inside and outside the government going "Well, then that would be a constitution crisis" as if that's little more than a burnt Thanksgiving turkey. I have zero confidence anything with teeth is being planned behind the scenes.

On a related note, I respect Newsom for largely staying out of the national fight while he deals with the LA fires but it's been a while and his silence is deafening at this point.

We'll see... I refuse to believe US voters appreciates what is happening right now. The Reps should falter once midterms come. If this is not the case, all hope is lost.
who cares trump does not care. by the time voting comes around it may be too late.

-Eric Adams claimed on Fox he did not engage in a deal with the Trump admin to cooperate with deportations to have his case dropped. “Border Czar” Tom Homan, sitting next to him live in studio, joked he’d be in the mayor’s office if he didn’t live up to “the deal”. Adams nervously laughed. A denial and then an admission back to back, live on TV, no big deal right? Oh, but he was joking, I’m sure.

Do I have that right? All that and it’s not been a month. I’m sure I’ve left some out.

Also, Trump is still not mentally fit, and never was. I’m sorry to report that the act of his winning the election did not miraculously change the way his brain functions.

I promised not to 💩 post, but you have to admit I’ve been better. 😁
