Democrats don't want to "be blamed for a shutdown" so they're caving to Republicans.
Yes, Democrats have so much to lose right now.![]()
He's far too intelligent and practical for Americans to consider, maybe raping some people and bankrupting a bunch of casinos it would boost his appeal a bit.It appears that Pete Buttigieg has a plan. In the past I've listened to at least a dozen of his interviews and was always blown away by his intelligence and on-the-spot problem solving thoughtfulness.
Its already been done, he has to think outside of the box. Maybe some kidnappings or illegal waterboarding, and if he knocks over a kids lemon-aid stand and throws in a Ponzi scheme I think we may have a winner. He's far too intelligent and practical for Americans to consider, maybe raping some people and bankrupting a bunch of casinos it would boost his appeal a bit.
Are you sure, though? Perhaps, being in the minority (minus one more) all around, they may simply be stepping out of the way so the country can see how very awful the Rs actually are.
There is a widespread consensus that we need a massive backlash against the RRW (which even includes a smattering of Rs), and we are all looking around to see who is going to get it rolling.
Also glad to see Walz out there making the rounds. On the face of it Schumer is just another politician caving to Musk and Trump who are essentially dismanling the Government as we know it.JFC that’s bang on. Just came in here to b*tch and moan about Schumer and Jeffries.
“Is it time for new leadership in the senate?”
Jeffries: “Next question.”
That’s not the Leader Jeffries I know, and for that weak-ass answer to come out of his mouth when people at home have the same question is as insulting and useless as those goofy-ass “town halls” republicans are running away from. That answer at this time? Weak and disappointing.
I don’t entirely fault Schumer for going this route, and he explained it a little, but not enough to my liking. I’m not a hothead fringe lunatic who wants to send dems to the political gallows like the right wants to do as soon as someone disagrees with Trump - I still like Joe Manchin for instance - but goddamn these democrats have been floundering since the SOTU honeymoon was over last year.
Tim Walz is making the rounds and I’m so glad he’s not staying in the background. He’s been the best voice I’ve heard so far. I can’t believe Americans passed him and Harris up for the freak show.

At the moment there is nobody who will stand up to them and the actual people of this country have zero representation unless they're in the top 1%. Democrats are completely useless right now and IMO it will be up to the people to stand up for themselves.
I love the guy but he's way too nice to ever make it in this country. Values and decency are not things the American people want anything to do with. I know I'm sour on things right now but Trump and those who voted for him have shaken my last ounce of faith in anything to do with this fucked up country.Buttigieg has roughly 2-3 years to come up with a credible plan for a presidential campaign. It's great that he's apparently starting to game it out now. Hopefully he'll be able to snag Axelrod for his campaign strategist/advisor.
By the time election primaries come around early/mid 2028, I suspect the US will be in such a mess with an imbecile at the helm, that Buttigieg will have a decent chance (running against vance or trump sons), similar to Obama back in 2008.
